Tibco Software Names Matt Langdon CFO

(RTTNews) - Tibco Software Inc. (TIBX) appointed Matt Langdon, Tibco's senior vice president of strategic operations, as its Chief Financial Officer.

As CFO, Langdon will oversee financial operations, strategy, and reporting worldwide. Langdon will report to Murray Rode, Tibco's chief operating officer.

Rode had taken the additional responsibility as the CFO after Tibco's previous CFO Sydney Carey resigned to join 10gen, a private, venture-backed technology company, effective April 19.

Commenting on Langdon's appointment, Chief Executive Vivek Ranadive said, "He brings the right mix of strategic insight, operating experience, and financial acumen to the CFO position, as we develop our business to pursue one of the most attractive opportunities in software. I look forward to continuing to work closely with Matt in his new role."
