Thomas Arrix Named Senior Vice President of Ad Sales for Univision Onl

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2005--Univision Online, Inc., a subsidiary of Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the nation's leading Spanish-language media company, announced that Thomas Arrix has been named Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales. Mr. Arrix will be responsible for advertising and sponsorship revenue for Univision Online, as well as overseeing the division's sales and client services operations. He will be based in New York and will report to Javier Saralegui, President and COO of Univision Online.

Thomas Arrix was previously the Senior Vice President of Sales & Client Services at CBS Sportsline.com where he worked for five years. While at CBS Sportsline.com, Mr. Arrix built the industry's top-rated internet sales force that was responsible for all media/advertising and sponsorship revenues for CBS Sportsline.com and partner sites including CBS Sports, NFL.com, PGATour.com and NCAASPORTS.com. Aside from managing the day-to-day operations of a fifty plus person sales force, Mr. Arrix was also responsible for setting the strategic direction of the sales organization. Mr. Arrix began his sales career with Turner Broadcasting Systems in 1991, where he was rapidly promoted to Vice President of Turner Sports. In this position, Mr. Arrix was responsible for the sales efforts of Turner's sports properties, including the NBA, NFL, NASCAR, Figure skating, Braves Baseball and the Goodwill Games.
