The Wendy's Company Reports Gain In Q4 Earnings

(RTTNews) - The Wendy's Company (WEN) released a profit for its fourth quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $27.34 million, or $0.11 per share. This was up from $20.44 million, or $0.08 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.11 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.2% to $309.25 million. This was down from $309.90 million last year.
