The Children's Place Throws a Pajama Party for the Children of the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation

Also joining in on the fun were some very special celebrityguests, many of whom also wore pajamas from The Children's Place asthey walked the red carpet. Pajama partiers included Constance Mariefrom The George Lopez Show (who read one of her favorite stories tothe children), Jonathan Silverman and his fiancee Jennifer Finnegan ofCBS' Close to Home (who held her own against many of the children inthe video game challenge), Carlos Bernard of FOX's 24 (who kicked offthe karaoke contest), former Miss America Leanza Cornett (who read oneof her favorite children's books), and Danica McKellar.

The morning began with a $10,000 donation to the StarlightStarbright Foundation by The Children's Place. It was presented by TheChildren's Place West Coast Vice President of Stores, Paula Lyons toKarineh Moradian, Director of Children's Services for the CA*AZ*NVChapter of Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. The $10,000will be used by Starlight Starbright towards hosting other fun-filledevents for the children in the new year.

The days' activities included a magic show, arts and crafts, a"pretty princess" booth, a bubble show, face painting, a video gamechallenge, and karaoke. All of the children also left with a $50 giftcertificate to The Children's Place so they can snuggle up to evenmore great fashions just in time for the New Year.
