Terra Nitrogen Q4 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Terra Nitrogen Company, L.P. (TNH) reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $113.6 million compared to $150.0 million, prior year. Net income allocable to common units was $69.0 million or $3.73 per unit, compared to $85.3 million or $4.61 per unit, prior year.

The company noted that its results for the fourth quarter of 2013 included an unrealized mark-to-market gain on natural gas derivatives of $9.3 million compared to a gain of $1.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Total net sales were $168.3 million, compared to $206.5 million, prior year.
