Teradyne Inc. Announces 59% Gain In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Teradyne Inc. (TER) reported a profit for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $107.7 million, or $0.54 per share. This was higher than $67.7 million, or $0.33 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.43 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 22.6% to $503.38 million. This was up from $410.48 million last year.
