Swift Transportation Co. Inc. Announces Robert Cunningham's Full-Time

    PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2005--Swift Transportation Co. Inc. (NASDAQ: SWFT) is pleased to announce that Robert Cunningham has commenced full-time employment as president and chief operating officer effective April 1, 2005.
    Cunningham stated, "I have had a wonderful seven years with Freightliner but I am even more excited about our future at Swift Transportation."
