Swift Transportation Co. Inc. Announces Appointment of Mark Young as Executive Vice President of Intermodal Business

Young has served as vice president of Swift Intermodal for thepast year and has a combined 25 years of experience in thetransportation industry with ABF Freight Systems, CSX Intermodal andHub Group.

Robert Cunningham, chief executive officer and president of Swift,said, "Our intermodal strategy remains on track and we are movingforward with Mark Young as our new executive vice president. The firstof our 1,500 new containers are arriving at the Port of Los Angelesthis week and we continue to bring the containers from BNSF into oursystem as previously planned."
