Sunrise Telecom Names Industry Veteran Helmut Berg to its Board of Directors

Sunrise Telecom® Incorporated (OTC: SRTI), a leader in test and measurement solutions for telecom, cable and wireless networks, today announced the appointment of Mr. Helmut Berg to the company's board of directors.

Helmut Berg has more than 20 years of technical and executive management experience in the telecommunications test and measurement and industrial automation industries. Mr. Berg served as president of JDSU’s Communications Test Business, addressing global test and management solutions for telecommunication field service operations, network operations centers and network equipment manufacturers. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Minnesota and completed the general management program at Wharton’s School of Management. He currently serves on the board of directors of J.W. Speaker Corporation and the advisory boards of Empirix and FiberZone Networks.
