StubHub Named Official Sponsor of University of Louisville Athletics
StubHub, the world's largest ticket marketplace, today announced a partnership with the University of Louisville to recognize StubHub as an Official Sponsor of Louisville Athletics. The Cardinals join a distinguished group of NCAA powerhouse schools aligned with StubHub, including the USC Trojans, Alabama Crimson Tide, and the recently announced Arizona State Sun Devils. With this latest addition, StubHub is now proudly affiliated with 13 collegiate athletic programs and a combined total of nearly 60 team partners across professional leagues and the NCAA ranks.
With a storied tradition of athletic excellence, Louisville sports programs will once again be contending for Big East supremacy. Through the new StubHub partnership, Cardinal fans will benefit from the opportunity to access premium tickets for Louisville games or sell their extra tickets through a safe and reputable platform. StubHub will enjoy increased brand awareness from varied online and offline marketing components, including in stadium promotion, radio advertising, email marketing and prominent advertisement on uoflsports.com.
"Cardinal fans expect the best experience possible when they attend our events, and many times that starts with their seats,” said Amy Blevins-Morgan, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing, Louisville Athletics. "Partnering with StubHub guarantees our fans will never be shut out of a game, giving them more access and choice than they’ve ever had before. Either at home or on the road, StubHub provides our fans a secure and safe place to buy tickets, something they value incredibly.”
"We are proud to add one of the top athletic programs in the country to our family of collegiate partners,” said Danielle Maged, Head of Partnerships & Sports Business Development for StubHub. "Cardinal fans will benefit from StubHub’s best-in-class ticket marketplace solution and their transactions will be managed by our award-winning service and are protected by our industry leading FanProtect Guarantee™.”
