Stanton Optical Wins 2013 The Sphere of Influence D.A.R.E. Award

PALM SPRINGS, Fla., Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Stanton Optical is pleased to announce they are the winner of Vision Monday's The Sphere of Influence Award for most daring community outreach, philanthropic or patient education program.  The award is part of Vision Monday's 2013 Dispensing and Retail Excellence Awards (D.A.R.E.)

This is the third year of the D.A.R.E. award program and this years awards were sponsored by Europa International. The cover story "Making a Mark; Most Daring Optical Retailers in the U.S. and Canada" appears in the September 9th issue of the Vision Monday magazine. Stanton Optical appears in a full-page spread on page 53 of the publication.

Submissions for the contest were accepted from May 6th through June 14th, at which time the Vision Monday's panel of judges voted on the winners. Part of the entry requirements were to write a brief essay outlining why we were the perfect company for this honor.
