SkyWest Inc Q3 Earnings Climb 38%

(RTTNews) - SkyWest Inc (SKYW) released a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $36 million, or $0.71 per share. This was higher than $26 million, or $0.50 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.66 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.9% to $794.00 million. This was down from $834.63 million last year.
