Siliconware Precision Q4 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. (SPIL), a provider of semiconductor packaging and testing services to semiconductor suppliers, Monday reported a significant rise in fourth-quarter 2013 net income to NT$2.26 billion, from NT$1.59 billion a year earlier.

Earnings per ordinary share stood at NT$0.72, and earnings per ADS were $0.12 during the period.

Quarterly revenues totaled NT$18.84 billion, a 16.7% increase from the prior-year figure of NT$16.145 billion. For the latest quarter, net revenues from IC packaging came in at NT$16.58 billion and represented 88% of total net revenues. Net revenues from testing operations were NT$2.26 billion and represented 12% of total net revenues, the company said.
