Rohm and Haas Renews Commitment to Conservation Market

Rohm and Haas Company (NYSE:ROH) announced its renewed commitment to the conservation market today by confirming plans to continue production of its Paraloid™ product family, long considered the material of preference for a wide array of conservation applications. Paraloid products, in particular Paraloid B-72, have been used by conservators to repair or preserve such world icons as the Sistine Chapel, objects found in the tomb of Tutankhamen, the Terracotta Warriors of Chinese Emperor Qin, and on other countless works of art. In making the announcement, Rohm and Haas also extended its commitment to providing these materials to other related markets including archeology, anthropology and paleontology.
