Regal Beloit Q4 Loss Widens; Sees 2015 Adj. EPS In Line - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Regal Beloit Corp.'s (RBC) net loss attributable to the company for the fourth quarter 2014 widened to $116.5 million from $33.2 million a year ago. Loss per share was $2.61 compared to a loss of $0.74 last year.

Quarterly net sales grew to $775.6 million from $727.3 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.94 per share and revenues of $778.53 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead, the company continues to expect its margin improvement initiatives will enable to achieve the first year targets for its legacy businesses. The company expects 2015 adjusted earnings per share to be in the range of $5.45 to $5.85, which includes accretion from the PTS acquisition. Analysts project 2015 earnings of $5.50 per share.
