BELOIT, Wis., April 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Regal Beloit Corporation (NYSE: RBC) today announced the closing of the acquisition of Nicotra Gebhardt S.p.A. effective April 10, 2018.  Information regarding the transaction and the financial impact on 2018 guidance will be provided on Regal's upcoming first quarter earnings conference call.

Nicotra Gebhardt S.p.A. is a leader in critical, energy-efficient systems for ventilation and air quality.  The business manufactures, sells and services fans and blowers under the brand of Nicotra Gebhardt.  The business of Industrie CBI S.p.A. was not included in the scope of this transaction.
