Redzone Wireless, LLC Delivers Ultra High Speed Free WiFi to Mall Shoppers in Maine this Holiday Season

ROCKLAND, Maine, Nov. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Redzone Wireless, LLC, a leading local Maine wireless Internet service provider (WISP), has installed and activated an ultrafast Free WiFi Network in the Bangor Mall for the holiday shopping season.  The WiFi network delivers speeds symmetrical 100 Mbps performance.  Redzone's Bangor Mall WiFi Network is now accessible in the Central Atrium and Food Court areas.  

The Bangor Mall, owned by Simon Properties, is home to over 80 stores anchored by national retailers Macy's, JC Penny, Sears & Dicks Sporting Goods.  At over 65,300 square feet, it is one of Maine's largest retail shopping centers.

While shopping malls commonly offer complimentary WiFi to visitors, Redzone's Bangor Mall WiFi Zone offers performance up to 100x faster than typical mall systems.  The Redzone free WiFi network at the Bangor Mall is believed to be the fastest public access mall WiFi system in the country.     

According to the National Retail Federation, 2016 Holiday Retail Sales are forecast to increase up to 4% versus the previous year. The projected growth in retail sales is expected to contribute to in an overall increase in Mall visitors across the US.
