Recapture of inmate from Stan Daniels Healing Centre

EDMONTON, June 26, 2018 /CNW/ - At approximately 11 a.m. on June 25 inmate Jimmy Kyle Saskatchewan was apprehended by the St. Albert Detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). 

This inmate had been unlawfully at large from Stan Daniels Healing Centre, a facility managed by Native Counselling Services of Alberta (NCSA), since June 23, 2018.

CSC and NCSA are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Ensuring the safety and security of institutions, staff, and public remains the highest priority in the operations of the federal correctional system and NCSA.
