QIWI Names Alexander Karavaev CFO, Replacing Evgeny Filimonov - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - QIWI plc (QIWI) announced the appointment of Alexander Karavaev as chief financial officer of the company, effective as of July 4, 2013. Karavaev would succeed Evgeny Filimonov, who would continue to provide his expertise to QIWI via. his new role as internal auditor of QIWI, effective as of July 4, 2013.

Karavaev, with over 15 years of finance, accounting, and operational experience, has served as QIWI's chief operating officer since August 2012. Earlier to joining QIWI, he was chief financial officer of Mail.ru, an Internet company in Russia, from November 2008 until September 2011. Before that, Karavaev was chief financial officer of Akado Group, an unit of Renova Holding, and deputy chief financial officer at Renova.
