GHENT, Belgium, 24 December 2014 - Ablynx [Euronext Brussels: ABLX], today announced, in accordance with Article 14 of the Belgian Law of 2 May 2007 regarding the publication of major shareholdings in issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market (the "Transparency Law"), that it received a notification of shareholdings from Biotech Value Fund Partners LP and Biotech Value Fund Inc.

Biotech Value Fund Partners LP and Biotech Value Fund Inc. notified that they have dropped below the 3% threshold and now hold 1,611,296 Ablynx shares of the current 54,014,159 outstanding shares of Ablynx.
