Protiviti Expands Risk Consulting and Internal Audit Services With New Office in Charlotte, North Carolina

The company is providing its expertise in internal audit and risk management solutions to companies and organizations in Charlotte and throughout North and South Carolina. Heading Protiviti's Charlotte office is Managing Director Karen Furstenberg. Furstenberg has more than 18 years of experience in accounting, audit and professional services.

Before that, she was a partner in a Big Four accounting firm, serving a variety of industries in business risk leadership roles.

Furstenberg has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego. She is a CPA as well as a certified internal auditor. She is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
