Progenics Pharma Q2 Loss Narrows

(RTTNews) - Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc. (PGNX) said that its second-quarter net loss narrowed to $11.1 million or $0.17 per share, from $12.3 million or $0.24 per share in the year-ago period.

Revenues for the latest second quarter were $1.48 million, down from $1.80 million in the comparable quarter last year, reflecting decreased collaboration revenue of $0.4 million and increased royalty income of $0.2 million.

On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.14 per share and revenues of $2.83 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
