Professionals' Financial - Mutual Funds Inc. announces changes to the sub-managers of three (3) of its funds

MONTRÉAL, Oct. 6, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Professionals' Financial - Mutual Funds Inc. ("FDP"), the investment fund manager and portfolio manager of the FDP Portfolios, today announces the withdrawal of Professionals' Financial - Private Management Inc. ("Private Management") as sub-manager of its funds and provides notice of the following resulting changes to the management of the FDP Canadian Equity Portfolio, the FDP Canadian Dividend Equity Portfolio and the FDP Short Term Fixed Income Portfolio.

FDP Canadian Equity Portfolio

Until today, management of the FDP Canadian Equity Portfolio was entrusted to sub-managers Triasima Portfolio Management Inc. ("Triasima"), Fidelity Investments Canada ULC ("Fidelity") and Private Management. FDP today announces that Private Management is replaced by Manulife Asset Management Limited ("Manulife") as sub-manager of a portion of the assets of the FDP Canadian Equity Portfolio. Messrs. Alan W. Wicks and Conrad Dabiet will be the individuals principally responsible for the investment advisory services provided by Manulife to the FDP Canadian Equity Portfolio.

FDP Canadian Dividend Equity Portfolio

Until today, management of the FDP Canadian Dividend Equity Portfolio was entrusted to sub-managers Lincluden Investment Management Limited, Manulife and Private Management. FDP today announces that Private Management is replaced by Beutel, Goodman & Company Ltd. ("Beutel") as sub-manager of a portion of the assets of the FDP Canadian Dividend Equity Portfolio. Messrs. Mark D. Thomson and Stephen J. Arpin will be the individuals principally responsible for the investment advisory services provided by Beutel to the FDP Canadian Dividend Equity Portfolio.

FDP Short Term Fixed Income Portfolio

Until today, management of a portion of the assets of the FDP Short Term Fixed Income Portfolio was entrusted to sub-manager Private Management, the balance of its assets being managed internally by FDP. FDP today announces that, from now on, FDP will assume management of the assets that were previously under sub-management. The individuals principally responsible for the investment advisory services provided by FDP to the FDP Short Term Fixed Income Portfolio will remain unchanged.
