PriceSmart September Net Sales Rise 3.9% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PriceSmart Inc. (PSMT) said that net sales for the month of September 2014 increased 3.9% to $192.6 million, from $185.3 million in September a year earlier.

There were 33 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of September 2014 and 31 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of September 2013.

For the four weeks ended September 28, 2014, comparable warehouse sales for the 31 warehouse clubs open at least 13 1/2 full months increased 0.7%, compared to the same four-week period last year.

PriceSmart plans to release fourth quarter and fiscal year 2014 financial results on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, after the market closes.
