PriceSmart September Net Sales Increase 11% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PriceSmart, Inc. (PSMT) Monday said that for the month of September, net sales increased 11 percent to $185.3 million from $167.0 million in September last year. There were 31 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of the month and 29 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of September 2012.

For the four weeks ended September 29, comparable warehouse sales for the 29 warehouse clubs open at least 13 1/2 full months increased 9.1 percent, compared to the same four-week period last year.

PriceSmart plans to release fiscal year 2013 financial results after the close of market on October 30.
