PriceSmart Oct. Net Warehouse Club Sales Up 5.8% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PriceSmart, Inc. (PSMT) Friday reported a 5.8 percent rise in its net warehouse club sales for October to $206.7 million from $195.4 million last year.

For the two months ended October 31, net warehouse club sales were up 4.9 percent to $399.2 million from $380.7 million in the year-ago period.

At the end of the month, there were 34 warehouse clubs in operation.

For the four-week period, the company's comparable warehouse sales for the 31 warehouse clubs open at least 13 1/2 full months were up 1.7 percent, while for the eight-week period, it increased 1.2 percent versus last year.
