PriceSmart July Comparable Warehouse Sales Up 3.5% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PriceSmart Inc. (PSMT) reported that its net warehouse club sales increased 14.5% to $227.4 million for July 2015, from $198.6 million, a year ago. There were 37 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of July 2015 and 33 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of July 2014. For the four weeks ended July 26, 2015, comparable warehouse sales for the 33 warehouse clubs increased 3.5%.

For the eleven months ended July 31, 2015, net warehouse club sales increased 11.2% to $2.49 billion from $2.24 billion for the eleven months ended July 31, 2014. For the forty-seven week period ended July 26, 2015, comparable warehouse sales increased 2.7%.
