Time Warner Inc. (TWX) is rising 3 percent to $66.20. The company's second quarter profit improved 87 percent from the prior year period and its adjusted earnings per share topped Street view. Revenues for the quarter came above the consensus estimate. Time Warner also increased its 2013 full-year business outlook.

Devon Energy Corp. (DVN) is up over 3 percent to $57.82. The company's second quarter earnings and revenues were higher than the year-ago quarter and came above analysts' expectations.

Finisar Corp. (FNSR) is up 14 percent to $21.85 and Pixelworks, Inc. (PXLW) is surging 46 percent to $5.24 after the release of their quarter results.
