Praxair Inc Q3 Profit Advances 7%

(RTTNews) - Praxair Inc (PX) released earnings for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $433 million, or $1.50 per share. This was up from $405 million, or $1.41 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.4% to $2.92 billion. This was up from $2.72 billion last year.
