PCTEL Announces Commercial Availability of its 1800MHz SeeGull(R) WCDMA/HSDPA Scanners; Wide Range of WCDMA Scanner Frequency Bands

Like other SeeGull scannersolutions for WCDMA, this new scanner seamlessly generates RFmeasurements for UMTS and HSDPA standards, enabling carriers to mapout both voice and data coverage for better planning and optimizationof their networks. PCTEL will be demonstrating its scanner solutionsas well as its entire portfolio of wireless broadband solutions at the3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain - February 13-16, 2006 (Booth#G24 Hall 2).

As UMTS continues to expand around the world, PCTEL is addressingthe needs of wireless operators in Japan and other countries that willbe deploying this technology in the 1800MHz frequency band.
