NXP Semiconductors Q3 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NXPI) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $155 million or $0.60 per share, up from $115 million or $0.45 per share last year

Adjusted net income rose to $219 million or $0.85 per share from $154 million or $0.61 per share last year.

Total revenues for the quarter grew 7 percent to $1.25 billion from $1.17 billion last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.83 per share on revenues of $1.26 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Looking forward to the fourth quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings of $0.85 to $1.02 per share and revenues of $1.22 billion to $1.29 billion.

Analysts currently expect earnings of $0.92 per share on revenues of $1.25 billion for the quarter.
