Nuance Communications Names Trace Devanny President Of Healthcare Business

(RTTNews) - Nuance Communications Inc. (NUAN), a provider of voice and language solutions, said Monday it has named Trace Devanny as president of its Healthcare business.

Devanny will oversee Nuance's largest division and lead its efforts to deliver a more seamless approach for healthcare professionals to document, share and use clinical information, the company said in a statement.

"As a healthcare technology industry veteran, Trace brings a powerful skillset that combines operational excellence, team development, customer engagement and a strategic vision," said Paul Ricci, CEO of Nuance.

Devanny has over three decades of executive leadership experience in the healthcare IT industry. He joins Nuance from TriZetto Corp, where he served as chairman and CEO. Previously, he held several executive roles at Cerner Corp.
