Northrop Grumman Corp. Reveals 17% Gain In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Northrop Grumman Corp. (NOC) revealed earnings for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $602 million, or $3.35 per share. This was higher than $516 million, or $2.75 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $2.81 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.0% to $6.16 billion. This was up from $5.98 billion last year.
