Northrop Grumman Corp. Bottom Line Climbs 7% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Northrop Grumman Corp. (NOC) announced a profit for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $645 million, or $3.68 per share. This was higher than $602 million, or $3.35 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $2.92 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.0% to $6.53 billion. This was up from $6.16 billion last year.
