Companies Partner to Provide Government Agencies Rapid Access to Innovative Storage Solutions and Services
    Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP), a leader in advanced networked storage solutions for today's data-intensive enterprise, and immixTechnology, Inc., a leading government consulting firm, announced today a partnership agreement awarding NetApp(R) products and services onto the immixTechnology General Services Administration (GSA) schedule, thereby providing government customers rapid access to NetApp storage offerings.
    NetApp selected immixTechnology to streamline the process of updating the GSA schedule to enable public sector customers, including military, federal, state, and local agencies, to gain faster access to the most advanced networked storage technologies available from NetApp today. Working with immixTechnology, NetApp is also well positioned to quickly identify new opportunities and bring its storage consolidation, database, and data protection solutions to government customers.

    Under terms of the agreement, GSA has awarded all current NetApp products and services onto the immixTechnology GSA schedule effective October 4, 2004, through March 26, 2009. NetApp products and services are also available for purchase through authorized NetApp and immixTechnology GSA partners. NetApp will officially withdraw its GSA schedule in January 2005, and NetApp products and services will be available exclusively on the immixTechnology GSA schedule beginning in February 2005.
