Netflix Inc. Profit Climbs 152% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Netflix Inc. (NFLX) revealed earnings for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $129.59 million, or $0.29 per share. This was higher than $51.52 million, or $0.12 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.32 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 30.1% to $2.98 billion. This was up from $2.29 billion last year.
