Netflix CEO Reed Hastings Pay Up 43% To $11.1 Mln In 2014

(RTTNews) - In a filing Friday with the Securities Exchange Commission, Netflix Inc. (NFLX) said its Chief Executive Reed Hastings's 2014 total compensation rose 43% to $11.06 million from $7.73 million last year because of an increase in salary and option award.

Hastings received a base salary of $2.96 million in 2014, up from $1.95 million a year earlier. His option award rose to $8.1 million.

Additionally, the Los Gatos, California- based company stated that its Chief Financial Officer David Wells total package was $2.43 million in 2014, higher than the $1.8 million in the previous year. His compensation included $943 thousand salary, $1.48 million in option awards.
