NEC Solutions America Names New Vice President of Finance; Peter DiCorti to Oversee Financial Planning, Strategies for Leading North American Integrated Solutions Provider

    RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2005--NEC Solutions (America) Inc., a premier provider of integrated solutions for the Connected Enterprise in North America, today announced the appointment of Peter DiCorti as vice president of finance, a role in which he will be chartered with overseeing the company's financial plans and evaluating the market conditions of key industries.
    DiCorti joins NEC Solutions America (NECSAM) from Unify Corporation, a Sacramento-based provider of business process automation solutions, where he was vice president and chief financial officer. In his new position, DiCorti will report to Akira Togawa, chief financial officer, NEC Solutions America. During his 32 year career, DiCorti has garnered significant experience with both national and international companies public and private.

    DiCorti has a significant background in public equity markets, venture capital funding and corporate finance management. While at Unify, DiCorti handled worldwide financial management, developed a Sarbanes Oxley compliance plan, designed an acquisition strategy, and instituted a new ERP system. His experience with will be invaluable to NEC Solutions America. He has also served as CFO at Grass Valley Group, Pacific Access, Alldata Corporation, and Digital Research. DiCorti earned a B.S. in Accounting from Santa Clara University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California.
