NCR Corp. Q4 Adj. Profit Tops View; Issues FY14 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Technology and services company NCR Corp. (NCR) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company of $198 million or $1.16 per share, compared to $242 million or $1.45 per share last year.

Excluding pension and special items, non-GAAP income in the latest fourth quarter was $221 million, or $0.83 per share, compared to $181 million, or $0.72 per share in the prior year period.

Revenues for the quarter were higher at $1.67 billion, compared with $1.64 billion in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.80 per share on revenues of $1.78 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to the fiscal year 2014, NCR expects earnings of $2.36 to $2.46 per share, adjusted earnings of $3.00 to $3.10 per share, and revenue growth of 12% to 14%. Analysts expect earnings of $3.10 per share on revenue growth of 7.50%.
