Molson Coors Names Geoff Molson Chairman, Peter Coors Vice Chairman

(RTTNews) - Molson Coors Brewing Co. (TAP, TPX.TO) Wednesday said Geoff Molson will be its new chairman, while its current chairman Pete Coors will assume the role of vice chairman. According to the by-laws of the company, chairmanship and vice chairmanship alternate between the Molson and Coors families in two years.

Geoff is a seventh generation member of the Molson family. He has served as a Molson Coors director since December 2009, and is the president and chief executive officer of the CH Group Limited Partnership. He also owns the Montréal Canadiens Hockey Club, evenko, l'Équipe Spectra and The Bell Centre.
