Microsemi Corp. Announces 22% Increase In Q4 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Microsemi Corp. (MSCC) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $128.2 million, or $1.09 per share. This was higher than $104.9 million, or $0.91 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.08 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.6% to $475.3 million. This was up from $450.1 million last year.
