MicroEdge, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advent Software (NASDAQ: ADVS) and leading provider of solutions for the grantmaking community worldwide, announced today that it has acquired London-based Vivid Orange Limited. Vivid Orange is the leading provider of corporate community involvement and employee giving technology in the U.K. Vivid Orange’s SmartChangeSM is a web-based solution that helps companies and charities manage their corporate community involvement and employee giving initiatives; it is the leading product of its type in the U.K. with clients including several major global companies representing the financial services, pharmaceutical, energy and media sectors among others.
