Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP Advises TXU Electric Delivery in Precedent Setting $8.7 Billion Outsourcing Deal
NEW YORK, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP advised TXU Electric Delivery, the nation's sixth-largest electric transmission and distribution company and a subsidiary of TXU Corp. , in a $8.7 billion outsourcing agreement for utility infrastructure and management services from InfrastruX Energy Services Group, L.P., a joint venture recently created by TXU Corp. and InfrastruX Group.
One of the largest outsourcing transactions ever, this first of its kind outsourcing in the utility industry will enable TXU Electric Delivery to receive design, construction and maintenance services from InfrastruX Energy Services Group.
The Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw team was led by New York-based partner David Hudanish, and included Jeff Andrews of the New York office, Kristina Herrmann of the Chicago office, Mark Maier of the Washington, D.C. office and Marc Rome of the Houston office.
