M&T Bank Corporation Acknowledges the Passing of Director Patrick Hodgson

BUFFALO, N.Y., Dec. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- M&T Bank Corporation (NYSE: MTB)("M&T") regretfully acknowledges the passing of Mr. Patrick W.E. Hodgson, one of the longest-tenured members of the company's Board of Directors, who died Monday, December 26.

Mr. Hodgson joined the board of M&T in 1987, having joined the board of its subsidiary M&T Bank in 1984. He was a member of the Audit and Executive Committees of M&T, and of the Examining, Executive and Trust and Investment Committees of M&T Bank.
