Liberty Property Trust Appoints Michael Hagan Chief Investment Officer

MALVERN, Pa., June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Liberty Property Trust today announced that Michael T. Hagan has been promoted to the position of chief investment officer. In this capacity, Mr. Hagan will oversee Liberty's investment growth initiatives, and he becomes an executive officer of the company. Mr. Hagan has been with Liberty for 16 years, most recently as head of acquisitions and dispositions. He will continue to direct all acquisition, disposition, and joint venture activity.

In other personnel news, earlier this month Michael Heise and Donald Schoenheider joined Liberty to head the company's Jacksonville and Chicago operations, respectively. Mr. Heise joined Liberty from Highwoods Properties, where he was director of leasing for Highwoods' Tampa operation. Mr. Schoenheider brings more than 20 years' experience with companies such as Jones Development Corporation of Illinois, Trammell Crow Corporation and Grubb & Ellis, to his post as head of Liberty's new Chicago office. Previous to joining Liberty, he was managing principal of Landon Properties, LLC.

In addition, Shelby Christensen has been promoted to senior vice president, and will be responsible for Liberty's property management nationwide. Ms. Christensen previously served as vice president/regional property manager, overseeing customer service in Liberty's Mid-Atlantic and Florida regions.
