KONE to provide smart people flow for Gran Patio Revolución in Mexico City

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has won an order to equip Gran Patio Revolución, a multipurpose building comprising offices and shopping space in Mexico City. KONE's undertaking will include the delivery of 42 elevators, 35 escalators and 18 autowalks as well as their maintenance to guarantee a smooth visiting experience for the estimated 11, 000 people passing through the doors of the 130m building on a daily basis.

KONE's People Flow Intelligence solutions at Gran Patio Revolución will include KONE RemoteCall(TM), an innovative smartphone application allowing the VIPs to make personalized elevator calls quickly and conveniently from anywhere in the building. Available for mobile phones using the latest iOS iPhone and Android operating systems, KONE RemoteCall reduces passenger waiting times.

Gran Patio Revolución will also feature other solutions from KONE's People Flow Intelligence portfolio including KONE Turnstile 100, a scalable access control system KONE Access(TM), KONE Polaris(TM) destination control system, KONE E-Link(TM) elevator and escalator monitoring system, as well as KONE InfoScreen information solution. The equipment will include 16 KONE Double Deck MiniSpace(TM) elevators, two KONE MiniSpace(TM) service elevators, 24 KONE MonoSpace(TM) elevators, 17 KONE TravelMaster(TM) escalators and 18 autowalks.

The building is designed by architect firm Colonnier y Asociados and it is expected to be completed in 2017.
