KEMET Corp. Q4 Income Climbs 334%

(RTTNews) - KEMET Corp. (KEM) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $7.85 million, or $0.14 per share. This was up from $1.81 million, or $0.04 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.10 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.4% to $197.52 million. This was up from $183.93 million last year.
