KArin Forseke, CEO, Resigns from Carnegie

Karin Forseke has informed the Board that she willresign from D. Carnegie & Co AB (Carnegie) (STO:CAR) in the spring.Karin Forseke has been with Carnegie since 1998, the last three yearsas its CEO.

"After 8 fantastic years at Carnegie during which I have had theopportunity to participate in building a world-leading organisation inour field and delivered record results, following a lengthy thoughtprocess I have decided to resign."

"It is never a good time to leave an assignment like this. I havetaken this decision with mixed feelings. On one hand I see all theopportunities and on the other hand the enormous amount of energyrequired to take the next step. I feel that Carnegie's futuredevelopment is better served by new leadership. " says Karin Forseke.

"We regret Karin's decision. She has very successfully led theorganisation to further improved market standing. The Board will nowinitiate the process to appoint a new CEO and we hope to have found asuccessor during the spring," says Lars Bertmar, Chariman of theBoard.
