Kansas City, Mo., Signs $5.8 Mln Contract With Tyler Technologies
(RTTNews) - Tyler Technologies, Inc. (TYL) has signed an agreement with Kansas City, Mo., to replace its aging legacy permitting software with Tyler's EnerGov planning, permitting and licensing solution. The agreement is valued at $5.8 million.
Kansas City's legacy permitting system had become difficult to support, maintain and configure. Instead of trying to upgrade its legacy system, the city conducted a competitive review to find a modern and fully integrated solution, and ultimately chose Tyler's EnerGov solution.
During the city's review, Tyler demonstrated its experience in helping governments migrate from legacy permitting systems to EnerGov's modern enterprise system.
Tyler's EnerGov web-based automation solution streamlines permitting processes while improving workflow management, business processes and customer service, and provides online access to employees and citizens.
EnerGov also met the city's requirement for a commercial-off-the-shelf system with an integrated user-friendly workflow management system in which data once entered can be shared across multiple modules and subsystems.
