Kaiser Aluminum Corporation Profit Climbs 27% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (KLUCQ.OB) revealed earnings for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $19 million, or $1.07 per share. This was up from $15 million, or $0.79 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.16 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.9% to $336 million. This was down from $339 million last year.
